The adventure begins
Born just after Christmas in snowy Slovakia. My parents probably had no idea they were raising a future code enthusiast!
Hey there! I'm Jozef - a developer based in northern Slovakia ๐ธ๐ฐ who fell head-over-heels for code more than 4 years ago and haven't looked back since. What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession - the good kind that keeps you up at night because you're genuinely excited about what you're building.
I've discovered that great code is like a well-crafted story - it should flow naturally and make sense to others. Also, it should solve real problems elegantly. Whether I'm wrestling with a tricky algorithm or polishing a UI until it feels just right, I'm constantly reminded why I love this craft.
I'm motivated by the belief that technology should make life better, not more complicated. Every project is a chance to create something meaningful that people will actually enjoy using.
From writing my first line of code to where I am today

At the ripe age of 6, I got my first personal computer. What started as gaming and content consumption turned into endless curiosity about how this magical box and the internet actually worked.
High school IT club introduced me to C++ and Arduino. Watching an LED blink thanks to the code I wrote? I was hooked. This eventually led me to self-teaching Python as well.
Said goodbye to Windows and embraced Linux. Because sometimes, you simply need to feel like a hacker.
Decided to go all-in on web development following a full-stack online curriculum. Thor would be proud - I was definitely wielding some powerful learning tools.
Landed my first job as a web developer. Finally getting paid to do what I love felt surreal.
Graduated with an average of 1.06 (where 1 is the best grade). Turns out all those coding sessions helped with problem-solving in other subjects too.
Made the switch from Linux to macOS. Still love the penguin, but sometimes you just want things to work hassle-free.
Started studying Informatics at Comenius University in Bratislava while working part-time. Because why choose between learning and earning when you can do both?
I drink at least 2 cups of coffee a day
I do my best coding between 5 AM and 9 AM
I used to be a gamer - still sometimes enjoy story games
I believe good code is a form of art
I want to build apps that make life easier
I love calisthenics and breathwork
